Janet Helen Yates, 87, born on Feb 21st, 1928, was called home to be with the Lord on December 15th, 2015. She was a member of a pioneer Osceola County family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Buster L Yates. Janet is survived by her sisters, Barbara Dennis and Kay Fetters; sons, Ron Yates and Randy Yates (Melissa); six Grandchildren and five Great Grandchildren. She was retired from Osceola County Schools as a Lunchroom Worker. Janet also spent many years working at Kmart in Kissimmee and worked as a local floral designer. She was a member of the 1st Baptist Church of Kissimmee for many years. She will always be loved and cherished by everyone that she came into contact with. The family will receive friends Saturday, December 19th, from 1:00 p.m., until Service time at 2:00 at Grissom Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Services have been entrusted to Grissom Funeral Home, Kissimmee, Florida.
