James C. White (Jim), born August 29, 1933 in Pike, New Hampshire. He was a veteran and served in the United States Air Force. He obtained a Business degree. He worked in retail management for many different companies (JC Penney, Beall’s, Wal-Mart, 7-Eleven, Cumberland Farms, Belk Lindsey and Arthur Treacher’s, etc.). He was a long time member of First United Methodist Church in Kissimmee. He was a loyal fan of the Gators, Kowboys, Red Sox, Patriots and the Celtics. He served as a church liaison for Boy Scout Troop 295, church and community choirs, and bowled in many leagues at Orange Bowl Lanes. He bowled a 298 and received a ring to recognize this score.
Jim is preceded in death by his parents, Eleanor (Gates) and Claude White; his brother Donald White; a daughter Claudia White McHenry, a grandson Patrick Harp and twin-grandsons, Joshua and Jeremy White. He is survived by his wife, Carol White, of Kissimmee, FL.; sister Barbara (and John) Sulin of Fitchburg, MA.; sons John (and Adrienne) White of St. Cloud, FL. and Jeff (and Stephanie) White of Lakeland, FL.; Daughter Jeri-Lynne (and Scot) Severance of Kissimmee, FL.; grandchildren Jordan and Meagan White, Jacie and Jared Severance, and Sean Harp, along with many nieces and nephews.
