Roseanne Virginia Hoblyak

January 31, 1952 – November 30, 2024

It is with great sadness that the family of Roseanne Hoblyak announces her passing on November 30, 2024 in the Regina General Hospital.

Roseanne was born on January 31, 1952. She was raised on the Churi family farm. She helped on the farm with chores and helping to care for her six siblings. This is where she met the love of her life Arthur Hoblyak. The two love birds married on July 3, 1976. Over the next eleven years the pair welcomed their five children onto the family farm. This is where they continued to make their living and lasting memories as a family.

Roseanne was predeceased by her husband Arthur Hoblyak; parents Steve and Elsie (Urzada) Churi; father and mother-in-law Ben and Mary Hoblyak; brother and sister-in-law Jack and Evelyn Marlin and brothers-in-law: Elmer Rogalski, Bill Szakacs, Emil Hoblyak, Eddy Hoblyak and Fred Appleton.

She is survived and forever missed by her children: son Steve Hoblyak and his children Joseph, Sasha and Jasper; son Jamie (Ruby) Hoblyak and their son CJ; son Rick (Leanne) Hoblyak and their children Kalub and Hensley; son Ashley Hoblyak; daughter Michelle (Josh) Hoblyak and granddogs Zeus and Apollo.

She will also be deeply missed by her siblings: Carol Appleton, Kathy (Daryl) Savage, Rod Churi, Marge (Doug) Pusch, Linda Churi and Brenda (Stacy) Huzina; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Margaret Rogalski, Brian (Rosemarie) Hoblyak and Allan (Henrietta) Hoblyak and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and treasured friends.

A graveside service was held in Bekevar Cemetery on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. with Marlene Tarr officiating. A public gathering followed in the Windthorst Hall, Windthorst, Saskatchewan
