Stephen Edward Marsh Papp

Stephen is survived by his parents, Steve and Linda Papp; his sisters, Melissa Jones (K.C.), Stephanie Glover (Jeff) and Alison Igoe (John); his brother William; his grandfather, Woodrow Marsh; and his nieces and nephews, Avery Jones, Ben Jones, Nick Jones, Hayden Willis, Madeline Willis, Aiden Igoe and Claire Igoe.

Stephen was born in Nashua, New Hampshire on June 7, 1985. He graduated from Kingwood High School in 2004. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in 2009, and then received his Master’s in Education from Angelo State University in 2011.

Stephen was a devoted son, brother and uncle who loved spending time with his family. He will always be remembered for the unique gifts that he gave to his nieces and nephews each Christmas. From a young age, Stephen was a natural athlete and driven competitor. Whether on the football field, in the weight room or playing a round of golf with his family and friends, Stephen always worked as hard as he could to be the best in all his pursuits. Throughout his years as an educator and coach, he made it his mission to instill a strong work ethic, winning attitude and love of competition in the young people he worked with each day. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, students and all who knew him.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 3:00pm on Friday, June 29, 2018 at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, 2929 Woodland Hills Dr., Kingwood, Texas 77339 with a fellowship reception following the service.
