Richard Perry, 73, of Kingwood, TX, passed away Sunday, June 26th, 2022. He was born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, on February 2, 1949, to David William Perry and Mary Elizabeth Truesdale. He was married to Diane Elizabeth Taylor for 48 years.
Rick served in the Navy, followed by a remarkable career in Federal Law Enforcement as a Special Agent for the Office of Labor Racketeering and Fraud Investigations in the U. S. Department of Labor, Office of the Inspector General. As a retired Special Agent, Rick continued his work in investigations for the U. S. Department of Homeland Security, Office of the Inspector General.
He had a passion for helping family, friends, and coworkers and for making people laugh.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, David and Mary.
He is survived by his wife, Diane Perry; children, Ginger [Travis] Dosser and Kent Perry; grandchildren, Travis Dosser Jr, Derrick [Sarah] Dosser, Randee Dosser and Austin Perry; great grandchildren, Jaxon McAdoo, Macy Dosser and Derrick Dosser Jr; brother, David [Nancy] Perry; sisters, Cheryl Jensen and Nancy Perry; and many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews.
