He moved to Texas in the eighties where he pursued a profession in auto sales and auto repair.
Phil enjoyed time with his family. He had a special nickname for each of his grandchildren. He loved to fish, hunt and was an avid golfer
He loved auto mechanics. He opened an auto repair shop in Porter, Texas in 1989. His shop was named “Kingwood Performance Plus” which later became known as Phil’s Car Care.
He loved helping people with their cars. He even became known as “Dr. Phil” to many of his customers.
He is preceded in death by his Parents; Matt and Flora Wofford. Brother; Fonce Wofford. Daughter; Reagan Wofford.
He is survived by his wife; Wanda Wofford. Daughter; Michelle Teague and husband Rodney. Son; Shane Harper and wife, Robin. Daughter; Shanna Widner. Sisters; Willie Layne and Wilma Griggs. Grandchildren; Blake Smith, Kyle Teague, Connor Frith, Mason Frith, Hayden Harper, Shea Alston, Shawn Alston, Jonathan Teague and Jessica Teague. Great Grandchildren; Clayton and Sarah Smith, Claire Teague, Riley and River Teague. As well as numerous, loving relatives and friends.
