Nancy Bose Phillips

Nancy was born on April 14, 1963 in Seymour, IN to Orville and Dixie (Noel) Bose. Nancy was a very goal-oriented, well-spoken individual who had extraordinary leadership skills. She graduated from Purdue University with a BS in Education and a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management. During her time at Purdue, she fostered her leadership skills as the President of the Purdue Grand Prix. In Nancy’s professional career she worked in many roles in Human Resources at ExxonMobile and retired in 2018.

Throughout her life Nancy cherished most her roles as a loving and dedicated mother, daughter, and sister. The time spent cheering on her children playing their favorite sports and traveling with family produced some of her favorite memories.

Nancy was a longtime and dedicated member of the Kingwood Church of Christ. She served in the Sunday School and Nursery Ministries teaching young children, served on the committees for hiring new ministers, and was involved in small groups for many years developing lasting and loving relationships that were dear to her. Additionally, having lived in the greater Houston area for the majority of her adult life, Nancy became a passionate servant to Houston and the people who call it home.

Nancy is survived by her Mother, Dixie (Noel) Bose, her children, Kyle and Mackenzie Phillips, her sister Teresa (David) Smith, along with numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her Father, Orville Bose, Husband, Mark Phillips, and sister Michelle (Bose) Nead.

Services will be held on Saturday, January 20th at 10:30 am, followed by a reception and a light meal at the Kingwood Church of Christ, Kingwood, TX. The Service will be live streamed on YouTube on the Kingwood COC Channel - https://www.youtube.com/@KingwoodChurchofChrist .
