She worked as an Occupational Therapist for many years, first on the staff of Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, then as head of the Department at the Veterans Hospital in Fayetteville, North Carolina, and several years with the National Health Service in England. After moving to Kingwood, Judy, worked as an occupational therapist for the Humble Independent School District and was widely recognized as improving the lives of many children in the community. Upon retiring from the school district, Judy continued helping children as a therapist at Occupational Therapy Services in Humble.
Judy loved the Lord and took active roles in her Church throughout her life. She always sought to help others. After she retired from being a therapist, she volunteered at MD Anderson Cancer Center, at local food banks, at the Kingwood Library and accompanied by her dog, Princess, with Bright and Beautiful Therapy Dogs, bringing joy at local hospitals, schools and senior centers. When she found time from volunteering, she was an avid reader and was an active and involved member of three book clubs.
Judy was married to her husband, Ralph, for over 51 years. She is survived by her husband, her son, Brian and his wife Amy of The Woodlands, her son, Jim and his wife Rachel of Houston, five grandchildren, Abby, Leah, Julia, David and William, her younger sister Peggy Ahrens of Yountville, California, her younger brothers George Rosenberger of Richmond, Virginia and Bill Rosenberger of Michleton, New Jersey.
