Mrs. Hanson was born December 28, 1951, in Normangee, Texas to Clarence Oliver Biddle and Lillian Irene Moon. She went to join the Lord on Sunday, June 2, at the age of 72 at Park Manor Nursing Home in Humble, Texas. Although she fought a very long fight with her health since she was a small child with a diagnosis of polio, she left us peacefully. She was a retired seamstress and secretary. She was strong, loving, caring, and stubborn through her whole life. She loved crossword puzzles, art, and watching birds.
A favorite scripture of her’s reads as, “And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” ~ Revelation 21:3-4.
She is preceded by the love of her life and husband, John Roy Hanson, her parents Clarence O. Biddle and Lillian Moon, and her brother, Clarence A. “Peewee” (Betty) Biddle. She is survived by her son, Nathaniel (Jeanie) Hanson; Four brothers, Richard T. Biddle, John “Hoot” (Linda) Biddle, James L. (Betty) Biddle, Ronnie (Tonyia) Biddle; two sisters, Janelle “Linda” (Bobby) Lawrence, and Jeanette (Jimmy) Lawrence and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Janice may have left this world, but her love and memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
