Elizabeth Louise Smith

Elizabeth Louise Smith “Mimi”, born Feb. 14, 1918 in El Reno, OK and passed away peacefully after a short illness on June 5, 2012 in Kingwood, TX. She was born to J. Carl and Clara Catherine Stickley. She graduated from El Reno High School and soon after married Carroll F. Smith. She was a devoted military wife who knew how to entertain at a moments notice and how to make any quarters into a home. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brothers, Ned Larrimore Stickley and Winton Laddie Stickley. She is survived by her loving daughter, Carol L. Scraper and her husband Robert S. Scraper; grandchildren, Christine Dennis and her husband Thomas and Robert J. Scraper; great grandchildren, Sydney, Jessica and Catie Dennis; nieces, Pat Moore and Waynetta Thrailkill. Family will receive friends from 6 pm to 8 pm, Friday, June 8, 2012 at Kingwood Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at 11 am, Saturday, June 9, 2012 at Kingwood Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be held from 6 pm to 8 pm, Sunday, June 10, 2012 at Bill Merritt Funeral Services, 6201 NW 39th Expressway, Bethany, OK 73008. Graveside Service will be held at 10 am, Monday, June 11, 2012 at Chapel Hill Memorial Garden, 8701 NW Expressway, Oklahoma City, OK.
