Santiago E. Guajardo, age 91, a former resident of Bishop, Texas and resident of Southlake, Texas passed away Sunday, April 21, 2013 in Keller, Texas. He was born October 11, 1921 in Bishop, Texas to Gregorio Guajardo and Santiaga Escalante Guajardo.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Refugia Guajardo; son, Juan Guajardo; and four grandchildren, Carrie Ann, Johnny, Michael and Jerry.
Mr. Guajardo is survived by three daughters, Albesa Laurel (Salvador) of Fort Worth, Texas, Delia Cedillo of Southlake, Texas and Sylvia Lerma (Armando) of New Braunfels, Texas; four sons, Jimmy Guajardo (Amelia) of Grand Prairie, Texas, Ruben Guajardo (Diana) of San Marcos, Texas, Ovidio Guajardo (Adela) and Gary Guajardo (Diana) , both of Corpus Christi, Texas; one sister, Aurora Guajardo of Bishop; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will take place after 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 26, 2013 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Friday, April 26, 2013 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 3:00 p.m.
Saturday, April 27, 2013 at St. James Catholic Church with Fr. Richard Koziol as celebrant. Burial will follow in Bishop at the St. James Catholic Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
