Mark James McQueen

Mark James McQueen, age 47, a resident of Elysian Fields, Texas and a former resident of Riviera, Texas passed away Sunday, July 17, 2011 in Longview, Texas. He was born on August 12, 1963 in Torrance, California. Mark was an oilfield consultant.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Kathy McQueen of Elysian Fields; four daughters, Kristin (David) Grubaugh of Hughes Springs, Texas, Karlie McQueen, Korrie (Brandan) Sims and Makayla McQueen, all of Elysian Fields; one son, Christopher (Michelle) McQueen of Longview; mother, Nelda McQueen of Riviera; one brother, Mike McQueen of Riviera; three sisters, Debbie Reinier of Alabama, Cindy Riojas of Kingsville and Glenda Barstad-hand of Oregon; and five grandchildren.

Visitation will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, July 21, 2011 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 22, 2011 at King’s Way Family Church, 1727 Senator Carlos Truan Blvd., Kingsville, with Ronny Robinson and Danny Strubhart officiating. Burial will follow in Riviera, Texas at the Riviera Cemetery.

Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
