Suzanne Hall, age 84, entered into rest July 7, 2011 at the home of her daughter, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Cherbourg, France, a daughter of Etienne and Desiree LeDoux David, she had resided in Kingsport for 64 years. Suzanne was a homemaker and a member of St. Dominic’s Catholic Church. She served in the French Underground during WW II, and was awarded the Croix de Lorraine by General Charles de Gaulle. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Larry Hall, two brothers, Etienne David and Pierre David. Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Larson Hall of Kingsport, daughter, Tina Hall Gentry and her husband Eddie of Bristol, Tn., daughter in law, Linda Hall; four grandchildren, Jonathan Hall, Tabitha Hall, Blake Gentry, and Spencer Gentry, two great grandchildren, Axel Burton and Kayden Clark. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Sunday, at East Lawn Funeral Home. A celebration of her life will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel with Father Michael Nolan officiating. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday at Mountain Home National Cemetery in Johnson City, please arrive by 1:45.
