Rev. Sherman Lee Grace

Rev. Grace lived his entire life in Kingsport. He pastored several churches in Southwest VA and East TN. He was a member of Fellowship Free Will Baptist Church and a Veteran of the United States Army having served in the Korean Conflict.

Rev. Grace was the son of the late Sylvester B. Grace of Davenport, IA and the late Thelma Triplett of Rockford, IL. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Betty Grace of the home; sons, Dr. Danny L. Grace and his wife, Valice of Scranton, SC, and Dr. Randall Grace and his wife, Paula of Herrin, IL; daughters, Christy McKinney of Kingsport, and Deborah Staley and her husband, Fred of Lakeworth, FL; grandchildren, Analiese Smith and her husband, Ryan, Angela Grace, Ricky Grace, Reece Grace, Kimberly Grace, Allison Grace, Joshua McKinney and his wife, Becky, and Ethan Staley; great-grandchildren, Balin and Daxton Smith, Anna Grace Morris, and Gabriel and Eli Grace; sisters, Betty Swanson and Shirley Kruger, both of Bettenford, IA; and brother, Bill Grace of TX.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 19, 2014 in the Garden of Memories of East Lawn Memorial Park with Mike Bays officiating.
