She was born on June 8, 1934 in Pennington Gap, Virginia to the late William Thomas Wininger and the late Vera Pauline Pennington Wininger. She was also preceded in death by her brothers: Dale Wininger and Mike Wininger; and sisters: Judy Wininger and Barbara Kelly.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her three sons: Roger Goodwin, Richard Goodwin, and Robert Goodwin; four brothers: William Edward Wininger, Sonny Wininger, Jim Wininger, and David Wininger; five sisters: Tommy Jo Ferrier, Kaye Delfino, Carol Byall, Teri Ryan and Linda Cox and a host of other family and friends.
A funeral service to commemorate the life of Paula Goodwin will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, April 17, 2017 in the Christus Garden at East Lawn Memorial Park, 4997 Memorial Blvd., Kingsport, Tennessee 37664.
