Nicolas "Nick" Fuller, 24, of Kingsport, TN, passed away unexpectedly on November 7, 2024. Born on May 19, 2000, Nick was a beloved husband, son, brother, and friend who touched the lives of everyone he met. His passing leaves a profound hole in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who knew him.
Nick is survived by his wife, Anna Fuller and her family, his brothers, Ty (and Emileigh) and Mitchell (and Carrie), and his parents, Scott and Amy Fuller. He was cherished beyond measure by his family and friends and will be deeply missed.
From a young age, Nick devoted his life to following Jesus, and his faith was the cornerstone of everything he did. His kindness, compassion, and generosity toward others reflected the love and grace he found in Christ. Whether through his service to his country, his love for his family, or his relationships with friends, Nick’s actions were always guided by a deep sense of faith and purpose. His devotion to Jesus shaped every part of his life, and he was a living testament to the power of grace, love, and forgiveness.
Known for his adventurous spirit and unwavering loyalty, Nick was the kind of person who could light up any room with his humor and infectious personality. Whether he was planning his next hunting or fishing trip, or making memories with those he loved, Nick’s enthusiasm for life was boundless. He was always the first to offer a helping hand and never judged anyone. His belief in the goodness of others was a reflection of his own pure heart.
Nick’s passion for serving his country was unwavering. His dream, which began in high school and continued through college, was to become a Navy SEAL. Over time, that dream grew into a vision of healing soldiers in the Army, alongside his beloved wife, Anna. His deep love for his country and his commitment to helping others defined so much of his character. But above all, it was his desire to serve God and follow Jesus that truly guided his path.
In addition to his devotion to faith and service, Nick was also a talented and creative soul. He had a gift for music, playing the guitar and banjo, and was skilled in leatherwork, even learning to tan his own leather with remarkable precision. He worked for Summers-Taylor, a job he took great pride in, and loved being part of his crew there. While working full-time, Nick was also pursuing his education, balancing the demands of work and school with the same dedication and determination that marked everything he did.
Nick was the best husband anyone could ask for, loving Anna with a passion and loyalty that few ever experience. His devotion to his family was unwavering, and his impact on those who knew him will never be forgotten.
A celebration of Nick’s life will be held on Monday, November 11, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Sunnyside Baptist Church, with a burial service on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at 2:00 PM at East Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to veterans’ PTSD treatment programs, such as United Services Organization and the Headstrong Project, a cause that was dear to Nick’s heart.
Though Nick’s passing leaves a gaping wound in the hearts of all who loved him, his spirit will continue to live on in the stories we share, the lessons he taught us, and the love he gave so freely. His family takes comfort in knowing that Nick is already in the presence of his Savior, resting in peace and probably already hunting or fishing in God’s Forest, continuing the adventures he so loved.
Nick Fuller may be gone, but his memory will live on forever in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
