Don and Regina, I’m so sorry to hear of Karen’s death.  Your family is in my prayers.

Donnie and Gary,  I remember the days when our families all met for the holidays at Grandma Horne's.  Little Karen was the baby until Bob came along. I always remembered Karen so sweet and kind.  Linda and I pray for your family's peace and celebration of Karen's life.  
 

I went to high school with Karen.   I remember her as a quiet, kind person who always offered a smile.   My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

Karen was a woman who loved the Lord and loved to be around people who loved the Lord.  I remember visiting her in her apartment at Dogwood Terrace and then helping to make arrangements with a lady from our church to pick her in order to come to church.  But before we worked that out she found a car that she would drive to church.  After she had to move from Dogwood to Holston Terrace apartments, I visited her in that apartment and actually helped her by hanging her coocoo clock on the wall.  She especially loved coming to the Bible studies on Wednesdays at noon.  Often she would bring some snacks to share with everyone.  [I will especially miss the Little Debbie snack cakes filled with cream in the middle that she would bring.]  One ministry she enjoyed doing was sending birthday cards to the people who attended those Bible studies.  To the family I say, so sorry for your loss but you and I know Heaven has gained a jewel.  May we all fulfill a ministry that encourages and blesses someone or even many people in our walk with the Lord!

I enjoyed knowing Karen. She had a ready smile and was always willing to lend a helping hand. She is missed by us at Holston Terrace who have enjoyed her creativity and happy personality. Her yard is as bright as her smile! I send you my deepest condolences at her loss.

We knew Karen from Bible study at Kingsport Community Church.  She was a special ,sweet, and loving person .She would bring snacks to share every time she was at Bible study.  She also loved to share her word puzzle books.  I received a birthday card from her last year and that really touched my heart ! 
The world needs more like Karen !!

I am so saddened to hear of Karen's passing....she was such a swewt and humble soul. I worked for her insurance agent. She would come and visit us quite often and share stories of her flowers, and the Lord. Prayers for her family! 

Don and Gary, I'm so sorry to see that your sister passed away. I pray that God will give you the peace and comfort that only He can give.

Oh, Aunt Karen, my heart hurts and I am so sad that you have gone on. 💔 
But, then I reminded myself that you just had the best day of your entire life! I can only imagine the loving reunion you had with Nanan and Graddaddy! How could I not smile and rejoice that you were ushered into your Heavenly Home? I can’t help to be a little bit jealous when I think of how free of pain and stress you are, but that’s silly of me. I will wait my turn and try to keep on keeping on here in this very broken temporary place. What’s it like up there in Heaven? Is there badminton and croquette? Beautiful flower gardens with butterflies and hummingbirds? We are going to miss you for awhile, but hope to join you soon. Mya’s heart broke at the news you were gone, but she will understand soon enough. Thank you for loving us the way you have!💖
