James "David" Bridwell

James “David” Bridwell, age 47, entered into rest January 23, 2014 at his residence. Born in Kingsport, he was a longtime resident of the area. He was employed with Kroger and was a member of Cassidy United Methodist Church and attended Jonesborough United Methodist Church. David was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gladys and Neal Bridwell; Sara Barnes and Blake Barnes. Survivors include his parents, Raymond and Janet Bridwell of Jonesborough, Barbara and John McKay of Kingsport; one brother, Robert Bridwell and his wife Kelli of Elizabethton, two sisters, Melissa Graham and husband Mike of Johnson City, Pam Brumitt of Church Hill; and Tracy Morelock and Steve McKay and his wife Diane; several aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews and extended family. Memorial services will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Jonesborough United Methodist Church with Rev. Tammy Wright officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Cassidy United Methodist Church or Jonesborough United Methodist Church.
