Jack H. Shuler, age 82, of Kingsport entered into rest February 21, 2012 at Brookhaven Manor. Born in St. Charles, Virginia, a son to the late Lon and Dora Shuler, Jack had been a longtime resident of Kingsport. He was also preceded in death by five sisters, four brothers, and the mother of his children, Lois Shuler. Survivors include five children, Linda Kozenskie, Judy Carolyn Lord and husband Steve, Lon Shuler and wife Carol, Mary Templeton and husband Terry, Kathy Murray and husband Phillip; five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; sisters and brothers, Glenda Clemons, Pete “EJ” Shuler, Bobbie Mason, Lon “Zade” Shuler, Rebekah Hood. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. today, Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012 at East Lawn Funeral Home, with funeral services to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Dr. John Hood officiating. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at East Lawn Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers will be Steve Lord, Terry Templeton, Brad Shuler, Todd Stubblefield, Austin Stubblefield, and Marty Roller.
