Juanita M.Steinebach 76 of Kingsley passed away unexpectedly on Friday July 29, 2011 at her home. She was born in Kingsley on November 29, 1934, the daughter of William and Josephine (Zenner) Steinebach. She was a member of St. Mary of Hannah Catholic Church. Juanita was very active in the church; she spent 26 years on the cemetery board and also on the funeral luncheons. She was a people person, and was always willing to help anyone. Juanita truly loved her family and her nieces and nephews. She is survived by two sisters; Wilma (Ray) Rothenthaler of Grand Rapids, and Marilyn ( Frank) Bott of Kingsley, one brother; Francis Steinebach of Traverse City, two brother -in-law; Al Fasel and Elmer Allagaier both of Traverse City, numerous nieces ,nephews , many special friends and her good neighbors Joni and Dave Wolf. Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings; twins at birth Joseph and Mary, Marie Baynton, Joan Ross, Dorothy Homrich, Rita Pahl, Virginia Fasel, William Steinebach II, and Joseph Steinebach, (4) sister-in-law; Maxine Steinebach, Catherine Steinebach, Mary Steinebach, and Mrs. Joseph Steinebach (Mary), (4) brothers-in-law; Louis Baynton, Martin Ross, Gene Pahl, and Robert Homrich. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday August 3, 2011 at 10am at St. Mary of Hannah Catholic Church, Rev. Michael Conner presiding. Burial will take place in St. Mary of Hannah Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Juanita’s name to St. Mary of Hannah Catholic Church.
