David Francis Kreiser, age 58, of Buckley passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Munson Medical Center surrounded by his family. He was born June 29, 1955 in Traverse City to Carl and Margaret (Milks) Kreiser.
He married Susan K. Alspaugh on June 10, 2004 in Buckley Michigan in their backyard. David and Susan ran a butcher shop, and his motto always was "No victim ever survived!". Along with butchering, David was well known for his canning and good cooking. He loved to hunt and spend time with family.

David will be greatly missed by his loving wife Susan, son Michael Hoffman; Mother Margaret Kreiser; siblings: Janet (Craig) Dixon, Karen Kreiser, and Craig (Connie) Kreiser; Mother-in-law Leone Sands; Nieces and Nephews: Lea (Doug) Boman, Derek Eberhard, Kristin (Johnney) Wilkerson, Jenna Eberhard, Amber (Chris) Martin, Matthew and Missy Kreiser; and 10 great nieces and nephews; special friends: Pickle (Sherri) Riccardo, Pat (Nicole) Dixon, Mike (Sherri) Dixon, Marsha (Rick) ; Valerie(Dennis) Conway, Leo (Rona) Kreiser, Scott (Cari) Fasel and Tom (Margaret) Hunter & "Willy", Ivan Dixon and Sarah, and Caroline Dixon.
David was preceded in death by his dad Carl and sister Barbara Ann.
A visitation will be held Monday, April 21, 2014 from 2-4 pm and 6-9pm at the Covell Funeral Home in Kingsley. A funeral will be held Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at 1 pm with visitation 1 hour prior, also at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions in David's name may be directed to A.C. Paws or a dog rescue of their choice.
