Willie Aslee Hughes

Willie was the consummate mother and homemaker. She was an excellent cook and loved taking care of her family. Willie also enjoyed traveling and playing golf with her husband and friends.

She will be remembered for her sweet nature and warm grace.

Willie is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years John Willard Hughes, daughters Brenda Hisel (Vern), Beverly Cummings (Michael), Betty Lariviere (Richard), grandchildren Christopher Giroux (Lindsay), Elizabeth Viers (Tanner), Jonathan Cummings (Christine), Brandy Giroux, Kailey Cummings McMaster (Derrick), Dakota Grimes, Blake Grimes, nine great-grandchildren, siblings Lillie Fisher, Billy Bishop (Sandra), Barbara Bell (Pete), Linda Hand (Curtis) and many extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home Thursday, February 2, 2017 from 10:00 am – 11:30 am. Funeral services will begin at 11:30 am in the chapel of Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Killeen Memorial Park Cemetery.
