Mr. Sims passed on December 15, 2024 in a Temple hospital. He was born in Amarillo, Texas on May 28, 1948 to Obie Luther “Jack” and Ruby Donna Stanley Sims.
He was a Master Mason. MSG Sims retired from the US Army after more than 24 years of service.
Steven was preceded in death by his sisters, Melissa Sims and Teresa Starks, and his parents.
Survivors include a son, Michael Sims, and two daughters, Kristin Harrington and Donna Sims.
