Margit A. Spriggs

Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Margit Spriggs, took flight with the angels to Heaven on December 9, 2024. She was 82.

Margit was the heart of our home and family, known for her love of Angels, the Christmas Cookie platters she created every year for over 20 years for her son’s bakery (Heidi’s German Bakery), and for touching so many hearts by sharing God's love and blessing those people with a beautiful angel. She will be dearly missed.

Margit is survived by her husband, Robert Scott, a veteran of the United States Marine Corps; two children, Ralph (Christina) and Rebecca (Timothy); three grandchildren, Ericka, Ashley, and Megan; and a great grandson, Grayson: all who faithfully referred to her as "Oma”.

Margit was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Walter Spriggs III, a veteran of the United States Army.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, from 9:00-9:45 AM at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home, 1615 South Fort Hood Road, Killeen TX 76542. Following the funeral service there will be a committal service from 10:00 - 10:30 AM at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, 11463 TX-195, Killeen, TX 76542.
