SPC Jonathan J. Williams

Jonathan knew and loved the Lord. He graduated from Katy High School in Katy, TX in 2003. Jonathan enlisted in the United State Army in January 2009. Jonathan had served three years, one of which was in Afghanistan. During his tenure some of his favorite duties consisted of; special escort, unit journalist, and burial detail. During his military service he received numerous awards and made many friends.

Jonathan loved his family and friends. He departed his life February 2, 2012. He is preceded in death by his Grandfathers: George Williams and Walter Hudson: Uncles: Atron Gardner, and Charles Gardner, Aunts: Tauki Ayers, and Joi Brittian.

He leave to mourn his passing: his mother; Valerie, father; Gary, Stepfather; David, Stepmother; Shelby, Grandfather: Elray Brittian, Grandmothers: Shirlene Brittian, Mattie Williams, Betty Sanders, and Joanna Hudson, brothers: Gary J. Jr. Williams, and Gabriel Butler, Sisters: Jazmine Hudson, Lexus Williams, Kierra Williams, Tyler Lee, Ashley Lee, and Tacara Butler, Uncles: Cary Williams, Dennis Ray Gardner, Sugarman Gardner, Murray Brittian, David Brittian, and Carlos Pickrom, Aunts: Elmira Pickrom, Karen Newkirk, Erma Brittian, Debra Gardner, and Atosaia Ayers, Niece: Layla Williams, and a host of relatives and friends.

The family will receive guest for a time of visitation Thursday, February 09, 2012 from 6-8 PM at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home of Killeen. Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home of Killeen on Friday, February 10, 2012 with Army Chaplain Claude Brittian officiating. Burial will follow in the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery with full Military Honors.
