Danny "Dj" Johnson

Funeral services for Daniel “Danny” T. Johnson 70 of Killeen, will be on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at the First Baptist Church in Harker Heights at 10 AM. Burial with honors will follow at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.

Danny was born February 14, 1943 in Bakersville, NC to J. J. and Juanita “Nita” Dale Johnson. He passed away on February 7, 2014 in Temple, TX.

Danny was a veteran of the US Air Force, he had lived in the Killeen area most of his life and served in law enforcement. He was a member of the Killeen Police Department, Harker Heights Police Department and served two different times at the Bell County Sheriff’s Department. He later was the Director of the PR Bond Service.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Sharon Harrison and two brothers-in-law Gary McMichael and John Harrison. Survivors include his wife Terry Dalton Johnson, children Scarlett Caswell and husband Richard of Palmer Alaska, Tracy Kneese and husband Danny of Belton,Texas, Jeffrey Foskey and wife Linda of Dublin,Georgia and Jennifer Kelderman and husband Jarrod of Ft Greely, Alaska, two sisters Sandi McMichael of Killeen, and Debra Guinn Schilling as well as 14 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren.

A time of visitation will be on Tuesday, February 11 from 6-8 PM at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen,Texas.
