Dearest Sara, I am so very sorry to learn of your sweet Mother's passing. Miss Corinna was such a considerate, kind and humble person , and she will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her. You and Scotty were her greatest treasures. May you always feel her love around you and find the strength you need to face the days ahead.  Please let me know if I can help in any way. This is Ryan Smith. I’m so sorry for the passing of ms. Connie. She always used to look at me and say, “there’s my fine young lad”. She and the whole family means so much to me in my childhood. Many sweet memories. She was always so good to me when I’d come over to spend time with Scott and Sara. I hate that I missed the funeral, but I will remember her fondly. Lots of hugs to Sara.

Sara, I am so sorry for your loss. Your moms love for you and Scotty was undeniable and I’m glad you could be by her side. 
Some of my favorite memories included walking into HEB and going straight to the bakery for a smile and a hug from her. I wouldn’t buy any monster cookies if she wasn’t working! I remember her inviting me to meet you after school to go with you to dinner for your birthday. When I showed up, she was standing in front of a limo with flowers in her hand patiently waiting for you to come out of school. When she saw me she was worried she’d embarrass you so she handed me the flowers to give to you and hid away. That was the best Olive Garden trip ever! She always wanted to make you feel so special. I remember her going all out and renting a ball room and DJ for one of your birthday parties. I never could convince my mom to give me the master bedroom of the house but your mom said you needed the closet space and it didn’t bother her one bit. :D She always put herself last. I’ll never forget her warm welcoming smile every single time I saw her. She will be truly missed.

I still can’t believe she’s gone. Your mom meant so much to me,  she wasn’t just your mom, she truly felt like family to me too. Her love, her hugs, the way she always made me feel welcome and safe at her house, her food... I’ll never forget any of it. She had such a beautiful heart and a calming presence that made everything feel okay. I’ll carry her memory with me always, and I hope she knows how deeply loved she was. I’m sending you all my love and holding you so close in my heart.

Corina was a good friend who truly cared about people more than herself, she loved her family greatly. We met 10 yrs ago when working at HEB and stayed friends even after I left. She had a heart of gold and will be greatly missed.  She left behind a beautiful daughter.  Sara your mom loved you so much and I know nothing or no one can replace her.  Just know I’ll be here for you should you need anything.

I just wanted to take a moment to say how deeply sorry I am for the loss of Corina. She wasn’t just my best friend’s mom—she was someone who always treated me like family. From the first time I met her, she welcomed me with open arms, offering warmth, kindness, and a smile that made you feel instantly at home.
I’ll never forget the little things—how she would always make sure I ate when I came over, asked about the things going on in my life, and had this way of making every guest who passed through her house feel like family. She was one of those rare people who gave love freely and made you feel more than welcome in her house. I feel incredibly lucky to have known her, and I’ll always carry the memory of her with gratitude and love. My heart goes out to Sara as she navigates through this tough time.
