Billy W. Revis

Billy W. Revis, of Killeen, Texas passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at the age of 82 years old. Born and raised in Arkansas he joined the Air Force in 1960. After his enlistment he returned to Arkansas, married and started a family. In 1972 he and family moved to Killeen to work for his brother Mack at Big D Tire Store. There he became the best front end alignment tech in the area.

Billy was very ambitious and went to Central Texas College (CTC) to obtain his Pilot’s License. While there he also obtained his Real Estate license. In 1978 he joined Gallery of Homes and was a part time agent. More often than not he was the Top Salesman of the Month each month.

In February 1985 Billy decided to become a full-time real estate agent and move his license to a new real estate company and concept that came to the area, RE/MAX of Killeen. He later became co-owner of RE/MAX of Killeen and then Centroplex Investors, Inc., Revis & Revis Property Management, LLC and BWR Rentals, LLC. His life’s career and passion was Real Estate right up to his passing. He always made it a point to do things ethically and right. When Billy put his mind to something, it happened… and he excelled at whatever he decided to do.

Billy married Sherry in February 1988 in Las Vegas and they did everything together. He loved going to casinos to gamble, going on cruises, boating, fishing, and traveling in their motorhome together. He also loved the Dallas Cowboys. They were his team!

Billy was a giver and gave to many charities locally and nationally. He loved his family, they were everything to him and he was always generous with his love and gifts.. He also loved to talk about God, politics and history. He had the best outlook on life, right up until he passed. He enjoyed making you laugh with his theories and “Billy-isms” while providing you the best hospitality. Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) came upon him in September 2018, but that did not stop him from living his best life.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Sherry Revis; Children Kevin Revis, Rickey Revis & wife Loan, and Regina Revis; Grandchildren Kyle and Emily Revis, Devin and Jace Gregory, Anthony and Isabella Revis; Sister, Joann Sheridan; Father-In-Law Charles Needham, Mother-In-Law, Janet Needham; Sister-In-Law, Marian Revis and Brother-In-Law, Thomas Needham, along with nieces, nephews, co-workers, and special friends.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Thomas Revis, Mother, Arretta Baker, Brothers, Mack Revis, Tommy Revis and Clyde Baker.

A Celebration of Life Service with Military Honors for Billy will be held Friday, May 12, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Crawford Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you donate to the ALS Association, Heart Association or a charity of your choice in Billy Revis’s name.
