Born Sept 25, 1935
Our dear mother passed away Saturday, February 25, 2023, at the age of 87, surrounded by her family. She was a wonderful, caring, mother, super grandmother, and even a better great and great-great grandmother. Aurelia was authentically and wholeheartedly always there for those in her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband Servando Garcia, one brother and one great great granddaughter.
She is survived by 4 sisters 2 brothers, her daughters Betty Cepero (husband, Eddie Cepero), Lydia Arias (husband, Freddy Arias), Elva Gonzales (husband, Richard Gonzales), 12 grandchildren 32 great grandchildren, and 11 great-great grandchildren.
She enjoyed working on her rose bushes and was very proud to see them bloom. She also cared very deeply for the several pets that came into her life. She had a great sense of humor and a sassy personality. The great grandkids and great-great grandkids called her “spicy”. She has left a huge void in many hearts. She will be greatly missed by her family and many dear friends.
We would like to thank the Scott & White Hospice Unit for making her comfortable and supporting the family with open hearts.
