Benjamin S Lara, age 79, of Kerman, California passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2022. Benjamin was a simple man down to earth a homebody, he loved to drink his coffee. Benjamin loved spending time at home with his family. Benjamin was his own handyman, he did all his home repairs himself as well for his children's homes.
Benjamin is survived by his children; Eva Lara (Edward Rojas), Elizabeth Lara Herrera, Benjamin R. Lara Jr. (Anita), Manuel R. Lara (Yvonne). Benjamin also leaves 22 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
Benjamin was preceded in death by his wife S. Lucy Lara.
A visitation for Benjamin will be held Tuesday, December 27, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 15437 W. Kearney Blvd, Kerman, CA 93630. A rosary will occur Tuesday, December 27, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM, 15437 W. Kearney Blvd, Kerman, CA 93630. A mass will occur Tuesday, December 27, 2022 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM, 15437 W. Kearney Blvd, Kerman, CA 93630. A committal will occur Tuesday, December 27, 2022 from 12:15 PM to 1:15 PM at Mountain View Cemetery, 1411 W Belmont, Fresno, CA 93728.
Serving as pallbearers are Carlos Castro, Santos Herrera, Adrian Lara, Damian Lara, Manuel Lara and Benjamin Lara Jr.
