So sorry to learn of the recent passing of my cousin, Phyllis. I was aware that she had not been in good health for quite some time, so this was not a great surprise.

I thought that people might appreciate seeing an image of her at the beginning of her long and very active life.

When my mother (Phyllis' aunt) was living her final years in Winnipeg, Phyllis would often go to visit with her and to help out whenever she could. Although Phyllis did not have any children of her own, her extended family was very important to her, particularly her three nephews who were born and raised in Kenora.

I saw Phyllis many times over the years when I visited Parkview.   She was always pleasant and cheerful and full of life.  I shall miss her smiling face to greet me.

i have great memories, growing up in lakeside with phyllis and joan. phyllis and i never lost contact, i still use the pillowcases she so beautifully embrodered for me  years ago.   i do not think, phyllis had the words no , wont, or cant,  in her vocabulary. she helped so many of us, an unsung hero.    a life well lived.   she will be missed.

My sincere condolences to Art, Scott, Jim and families on the passing of their Auntie Phyllis.
I remember her smiling face and always interested in how my family and I were doing. She was a very generous person with her time and I remember her knitting mitts for the kids with their initial on it.  They were impressed.  Good memories. Rest in peace, Phyllis.

I was sorry to hear of Phyllis’ passing  . . . she was always so active and energetic, and I thought she would live for ever! We worked together at the Agape Table, and as the leader of the “Tuesday Team” for many years, Phyllis was very diligent in ensuring that lunch preparation and clean-up on that day were always well done.  In addition, we were all very grateful for her expertise as Treasurer for Agape; the accounts were meticulously maintained.
	I understand that Agape was only one of very many volunteer opportunities that Phyllis signed up for . . . hers was a life very well lived . . . and the expectation for her to “Rest in Peace” is surely well-earned.

Phyllis was a great lady. She volunteered at many places, giving her time to help others.  We worked with Phyllis at RBC & volunteered together at some of the same places. At work Phyllis taught us lots and we thank her. We had lots of fun together as friends and colleagues. We will miss her. She will be missed. Rest in peace. Betty & Debbie

Although it has been many years since we have seen Aunt Phyllis, our memories of her are as clear as if it were yesterday.  She will be missed, our deepest sympathy to all her family and friends.

Phyllis and I were co workers many years ago and a neigbour at one point.She was always ready for a chat and willing to give off her time when asked. Rest in peace Phyllis.

I fondly remember Phyllis as a steadfast and dedicated member of Bethesda Lutheran Church. She offered her time, energy and skill to many endeavours. In my younger years she was my Sunday School teacher and in my teenage years we completed the accounting of church offertories every Sunday, without a calculator! This involved walking down town to a bank to deposit the offering, followed by a cup of coffee at the Plaza. My heartfelt condolences go out to her family.

Phyllis was a former co worker of mine but more importantly a friend. She was small, but she was mighty.  Rest easy dear lady. You’ll be missed.

Phyllis was a beautiful person.  She was so giving of her time.  She also had a beautiful smile for each person.  Loved knowing her for so many years.  May she rest in peace.  Wendy and David

I met Phyllis at New Horizons.  She was a member of our board for many years  plus a member of our Handi Transit Board.   Afterwards I had many nice chats with her at Parkview.  She was always very perky and happy to see me.  Rest in peace Phyllis.
