Percy Henry a son, brother, common law, father of two beautiful boys. A resident of Wabaseemoong and raised in Whitefish Bay. With deep sorrow we are sad to announce that Percy, at the age of 27, passed away in Kenora at Lake of the Woods Hospital on February 8, 2021.
Percy survived by his mother Tina Henry, Brothers William (Heather), Willard, Wallace and sisters Jaqua, Loyata. Nephews & Nieces Keegan, Eden, Brooklyn, Amiah, Asher, Dallas, Isabelle, Emma. Close relatives Tonia, James & kids, Sean, Melissa & Children, Alberta(Karen), Uncle Billy(Phyllis), Edith(Ivan), & Caroline & spouse, Parents Jim & Nancy Gelletta who fostered Willard, Percy and Wallace in 2001 until they grew up to be young adults. Nancy Passed away in 2006 but Jim continued to raise the boys by himself and still does till this day. He leaves behind his two sons Kylan and Khaos Henry, and his girlfriend Emily.
Percy leaves this world to join many loved ones that have passed before him, his father, Percy Albert Wayne Gautheir; his grandparents, William Gauthier Sr. and Mary Jane Kelly; auntie and uncles, Rosaline Cowley, Margaret Gauthier, Madeline Kakeeway and Willy Kakegamick; and his cousin, Mary Jane Gauthier. On his mothers side, Percy is predeceased by his grandparent’s, Bill and Agnes Fraser; auntie and uncle’s, Dorothy, Barney, Johnny and Tommy; his cousins, Joey, Terry Fraser, Emily Fraser, Kelvin Fraser, Melissa Fraser, Chris Fraser, Alex Muckle, Lisa Land, Angela Fraser, Beauty Fraser, Daanis Quewezance, Fraser Joe, Robin Swain, AJ Kent.
Percy love to go fishing during any season, and hunting. He love to go snowboarding, he was a big gamer and love building things. Also enjoyed drawing and was very good at drawing. Percy really enjoyed playing basketball with his brothers Willard & Wallace. Percy love visiting with his sister, Jaqua and his nephew, Dallas and nieces, Isabelle and Emma. Percy’s earlier days as a young teenager working, he delivered newspaper, worked in roofing & as a labourer. Most of his time spent was with his sons Kylan & Khaos who he loved dearly & his partner Emily.
A Wake service will take place on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at Whitedog First Nation Wabaseemoong School Gym. A Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Whitedog First Nation Wabaseemoong School Gym, officiated by Pastor Frank Kowal. Burial to follow service.
