1926 - 2011

Norma Corbett, a resident of Kenora, Ontario, passed away August 03, 2011 at the Lake of the Woods District Hospital.

Norma will be remembered by her sons Garry (Peggy), David (Kirsten) and daughter Cathy (Terry) O’Quinn and seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her husband “Ossie”, brother Robert Harding and sister Dorothy Parks.

Norma was born and raised in Sioux Lookout. She attended business college in Thunder Bay and moved to Sioux Lookout and met the love of her life “Ossie” and were married in 1951.

She loved spending quality time with “Ossie” and their family, they both had a passion for outdoor activities and enjoyed them together. She had a great sense of humor which attracted a large circle of friends with whom she played cards, built puzzles and gambled with.

Norma spent many hours volunteering at Pinecrest and providing knitting and hand made items to bizarre and bake sales.

The family would like to extend their sincere thanks and gratitude to all of her friends in Kenora and Grandview Village.

Memorial Service will be held on Monday, August 22, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Centre with Pastor Robert Wittmeier officiating.
