It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Nora White on January 6, 2011 at Lake-of the Woods Woods Hospital in Kenora, Ontario at the age of 86.

Nora leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughters Linda ( Tom), Brenda, her sons Leonard, Roland, and also Vincent ( Margaret), Jason (Sandra) who she has raised and considered as her own, sister Lillian and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends and relatives.

Nora was predeceased by her husband Harry, grandson Thunder, sisters Agnes, May, Mable, Alma, Edith, and brothers Gerald and Kenny.

Nora was born in Shoal Lake, Ontario, November 24,1924. She was the daughter of the late James Redsky and Annie Kakeeway. Nora loved sewing, beading and making jingle dresses. She enjoyed playing Bingo as well.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Hoss,Stella, Tony, Clarence, Allo, Keith, Elaine White and many relatives for their continuous support ,phone calls and visits. Also Thank You to Dr. Pederson, nurses and staff at Lake of the Woods Hospital, Chief and Council of Naotkamegwanning F.N. and Brown's Funeral Home for the support that was given.

Wake will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2011 and traditional funeral will be on Sunday, January 9, 2011 at Naotkamegwanning F.N ( Whitefish Bay).

Honourary pallbearers will be her relatives and friends in attendance.
