In loving memory of Desmond Martin who passed away on April 05, 2012. He was born August 25, 1955 at Obashkaandagaang First Nation.

He will always be remembered for his hard work as a community member, willing to help his people despite his own health problems. When asked to help out during community events he never hesitated. His Outdoormenship took him to a lot of places and taught us that we are never alone. We will remember him for all of the love and gratitude he gave. We will miss you deeply.

Desmond is survived by his ex-wife Margret Hunter, his nieces Janet, Anita (Jimmy), Cathy (Devin), Lucy, nephews, Jack (Lisa), Harry (Jackie), Kenneth, Troy, Great nieces, Crystal (Rocky), Debbie (Glenn), Stewy (Patricia), Amber (Gilly), Great nephew Glen Jr. (Lorrie), Elaine (Lenny).

He was predeceased by his father Jake Indian and mother Annie Indian, his one and only son Jeremy Hunter, Sister Jane Sinclair (Indian) Brother Harry Martin, and brother-in-law George Sinclair.

Wake Services will be at Obashkaandagaang First Nation on Sunday April 08, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. on April 09, 2012 at the Obashkaandagaang First Nation.
