It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Linda Jean Kelly of the Lynx Clan, born on January 25, 1964 in Emo, Ontario. She passed away suddenly on Thursday, July 6, 2023 in her home in Kenora, Ontario.
Linda is survived by her beloved children, Lana Ogemah (BG), Andrew Page and Jordan Kelly. She will be greatly missed by her precious grandchildren, Shawntae, Thea, Linette, Liliah (peanut) and Aurora, she is also survived by her sisters Phyllis Desbiens, Mary Kelly, and Frannie Miller. As well as her nieces and nephews Serena Copenace, Chuck Copenace, Denise Copenace, Clayton Copenace, Jim Copenace, Brian Hook, Dwayne Steiner, Jeff Andreasen Kelly, Marion Kelly, Mallory Kelly, Shiloh Kelly, Fabian Kelly, Cheryl Kelly and many cousins, great nieces and nephews and many other important relatives too numerous to mention. She is also survived by her precious fur baby Zeuss.
She was predeceased by her sisters Rosalyn Kelly, Janet Kelly, her brothers Doug Kelly, Phillip Kelly, Gilbert Kelly and Richard Cloud, her parents Marian Black and James Kelly, her beloved son Mason Ogemah (Jr.), her nieces and nephews Chuck Kelly, Marilyn Kelly (Goodsky), Yvonne Kelly, Candice Copenace and Duane Copenace.
Linda was the youngest of our big family. She loved her family and friends. She received her degree as a Data Specialist in Sudbury, later moved to Kenora, where she spent the rest of her time. Linda had lots of family in the area and she loved and cared for everyone, she was one of a kind and we all loved her.
Niibebiin will begin Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at 3:00 pm at Onigaming School Gymnasium and Maajaa'iwewin will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2023 at 10:00 am at Onigaming School Gymnasium and will be conducted by Mide'kiwenzie from Kieshgitabaaning and his helpers.
