I would like to thank everyone who has shared a memory and  written a condolence. It is so nice to know that our dad was a part of your lives, in a big way or little way. It brings all of us, his four children, much comfort. Again, thank you.

I met Junior about 10 years ago when I moved to Islandview Lane at the end of Anderson Road. When commuting to work each morning I would sometimes see Junior standing on the side of the road across from his house.  I knew Cindy Mostow and Kim Hagar often gave Junior rides. One morning Junior made a point of turning and looking right at me as he stood on the side of the road so I stopped and offered him a ride. He was very knowledgeable of what was happening in the neighbourhood, Kenora and world events.  He loved the horse races on TV and knew which horses won the big stakes every year. Cindy and I were lucky to be invited to pick blueberries on Junior’s property.  Junior was generous in picking and giving us his precious blueberries over the years as well. It’s going to be a great year for blueberries, Junior.  RIP

Our family moved to Rabbit Lake in 1958, although Floyd was ten years older he always treated us young guys as if we were one of the boys.  All those years I only knew him as Junior. Rest in Peace Floyd.  

Condolences to Junior’s family, he will be missed. We would often pick him up in the mornings listen to his stories and his knowledge of what was going on in the world. Rest In Peace Junior.

Junior was a friend of mine that grew up at Rabbit Lake and the surrounding area like myself. We shared some good times in the early sixties and Junior was also a member of my wedding Party when I was married to Susan Taylor.

So many MEMORIES,  such a long time ago,  you were the best and I will never forget the good times we had.

We weren't really friends but would greet each other when we would meet at No Frills. He seemed like a very nice guy. RIP Junior. Free of life's pain.  


Junior was there to help put the fire out when l caught Mrs. Ascough's plum bushes on fire.

 1 of the first people I met when we moved there, pussy being the other, so many good times, always stopped to catch up on what was going on, picking blueberries up behind his place, ice fishing, playing cards, just having good times, you will be missed my friend, soar high with the eagles my friend,  till we meet again
