Eliza Fisher
Eliza Fisher passed away at Birchwood Terrace Nursing Home on July 24, 2011 at age 79.
She is predeceased by her parents Edward and Catherine Bigblood and 12 siblings.
Eliza is survived by her children: Margaret (Fred), Nona, Elmer, Jacob (Edith), Helen, and Leonard (Donna). She is survived by one Sister in law; Harriet Bigblood, son in law Donald Sinclair whom she had a good friendship with. She had 20 grandkids and 26 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was born in One Man Lake. She lived in Minaki, Rice Lake, Scott Lake, Crowduck, Manitoba, Ena, Malachi and Swan Lake during her childhood years. She enjoyed the blueberry and wild rice seasons. She spent the rest of her adult life in Whitedog.
She worked as a janitor at Wabaseemoong School and also worked at Grassy Lodge and Dan Delaney Lodge, Halleys camp.
She loved square dancing, trapping, rice picking and cooking for her grandchildren and children. She loved taking care of her family and her adoring friends, too many to mention.
Wake Service will be held on Wednesday, July 27th & Thursday, July 28th at Whitedog Community Hall.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 29, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Whitedog Community Hall.Burial at Groshawk Cemetery.
