Born February 2, 1952, in Pine Falls, Manitoba
Passed away January 23, 2025 at his home in Kenora, Ontario
After a courageous battle with cancer, Chuck passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side. Known for his strong work ethic and adventurous spirit, Chuck made a career in blasting, a profession that allowed him to travel and experience the beauty of Canada.
Chuck is survived by his devoted wife of 53 years, Marilyn, who was his steadfast companion in life’s many adventures. He was a proud father to Trish (Darren) and Carrie (Cam), and nothing brought him greater joy than his grandchildren, Jackson, Brynn, Rylan, and Kate, who were the light of his life. His fur buddies Arlo and Murphy will miss their treats.
Chuck is also survived by his siblings Harold, Victor, Ken, Phyllis, and Beverly, and will be fondly remembered by his close friends Kelly, Boner and Lori for their visits, drives and talks. Will also be missed by special friends Mark, Anice, Grant, his domino partners Burt, Dave, and Derek as well as many other close friends. In recent years both Chuck and Marilyn took comfort in the strong relationships built within their church family.
Chucks life was full of activity and love for the outdoors. Whether playing baseball, curling, or camping with Marilyn, he lived every moment with passion and joy.
He is predeceased by his parents, Pauline and Alfred; his brother, Walter; and his parents-in-law, Stephanie and Morgan Valiquette.
