William N. Boone

Mr. Boone was born on October 7, 1928, in Atlanta, Georgia. He moved to Savannah at age 9 and lived there until he entered the US Navy. After serving his country, he moved to Smyrna, Georgia, and in the late 40’s, he moved to Acworth, Georgia. He was part owner of a hardware store/service station in downtown Acworth. He was retired from Lockheed.

Mr. Boone was a member of Mars Hill Presbyterian Church in Acworth. He enjoyed camping, outside activities and spending time at the beach. He was a kind person, a devoted husband, a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Ann McLain Boone; daughter, Karen Boone Finch(Larry); son, Russell Boone; brother, Harry Boone; four grandchildren; Sunny Boone, Casey Boone, Jason Finch and Kourtney Finch Alday. He is also survived by eight great grand children and several nieces and nephews.

The family will be receiving friends from 6 PM until 8 PM, Thursday, May 5, 2016, at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw, Georgia. Memorial donations may be made to Mars Hill Presbyterian Church Refresh Fund
