Thomas P. Blasingame

Thomas P. Blasingame, age 83, of Dallas, GA passed away on Monday September 18, 2017. Thomas was born November 21, 1933 in Girard, AL. He served our country honorably in the US Army during the Korean War. Thomas spent his entire working career in the High Tech Industry where he helped perfect the MRI machines that are used today. In his spare time he enjoyed crafting his own beer, golfing, coin collecting (member of the Atlanta Numismatic Association), and of course telling stories. He was a member of Due West United Methodist Church where he sang in the choir.

Mr. Blasingame is survived by son Eddie Blasingame; son Robert Hooks; son Renn and wife Stacie Perry; daughter Michelle Plumley; and daughter Patricia Blasingame; sister Anne Trimmer; 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Thomas was preceded in death by his wife Peggy in 2016.

A visitation for Thomas will be held Thursday, September 21, 2017 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, Kennesaw, GA. Chapel service will occur Friday, September 22, 2017 at 11:00 am and burial will follow at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta, Ga. Donations may be made in memory of Thomas to the American Heart Association, heart.org. in lieu of flowers.
