Sharon Kay Burk, age 75, of Marietta, Georgia passed away on Friday, December 6, 2024. Sharon was born in Akron, Ohio on January 25, 1949 to the late Lee Roy and Alberta Mae Burk. Sharon enjoyed to listen to music, especially on car rides. She also loved to eat chick-fil-a and play with toys. Sharon would watch the birds as often as she could because they reminded her of her two yellow canaries she had as a child. Sharon was so loved by many and she will be missed dearly.
Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, Lee Roy Burk and Alberta Mae Burk and her brother, Danny Darryl Burk.
Sharon is survived by her sister, A. Lyndsey Eggleston, sister-in-law Donna Kay Burk, and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and family. She was very loved and cherished by all.
A graveside service for Sharon will be held on December 11, 2024 at 11:00 am at Pine Ridge Memorial Park, 2950 Cobb Parkway, Kennesaw, GA 30152.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Mostly Mutts in Sharon's name.
