Rosemary Howse-Johnson, age 58, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 in Kennesaw, GA. During her time with us, she exuded internal and external beauty, and maintained an open door policy for family, friends, U.S. Postal Service colleagues and extended community alike. Known for straight and truthful advice, she often counseled others, while keeping compassion and life experiences at the core of her motivation(s). Rosemary sincerely loved helping individuals, families and children, and also loved throwing amazing house gatherings where she served her famous spinach lasagna, peach cobbler and a ton of love. She enjoyed interior decorating, consignment shopping, Christmas celebrations, and the sweet melodies of Soul, R&B, Jazz, and Gospel music. She is preceded in death by her father, Albert “Teddy” Fleming, and her daughter, Tamika “Mickey” Watson. She is survived by her husband, Marzell Johnson Jr.; mother, Annie B. Howse; children, Antwionne Watson, Carl Howse, Shaaf Howse, Dominque Howse, Tatiana Sellers, Khaliah Bolden, and extended daughter, Brenda Cirino; stepchildren, Tracy Morgan, Marzell Johnson III, Ezekiel Johnson, and Elijah Johnson; 3 brothers; 3 sisters; 12 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and a host of loving cousins, nieces, nephews and lifelong friends. The family will receive guests Friday, August 26, 2016 from 7pm until 9pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw, GA. Funeral Services will be held at 1pm in the funeral home's chapel on Saturday, August 27, 2016. Burial will follow Monday, August 29, 2016 at 12:30pm at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA.
