A native of Wilmington, DE, Mr. Gorsuch was born on February 11, 1944. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Vietnam War. Prior to retirement, Bob served many years in Financial Services most recently with Synovus Financial Corp – CB&T in Risk Management. He was a loving and devoted husband having been married 38 years to the former Kathy Byers. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Woodstock. His passions included flying single engine aircraft, building/repairing, and helping others with projects.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Kathy B. Gorsuch. One daughter, Robin Gorsuch of Atlanta. One brother, Charles Gorsuch of Florida. One sister, Peggy South of Texas.
Memorial services for Mr. Gorsuch will be conducted Saturday, January 24, 2015, at 2:00pm in the Chapel at First Baptist Church of Woodstock with Reverend John Pope officiating.
