Richard B. Dibble

Richard B. Dibble, 90, of Kennesaw, passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2010. Funeral service will be held Saturday, November 20; 11 am at Christ Episcopal Church in Kennesaw with Rev. Doris Graf-Smith officiating. Inurnment will take place Monday, November 22, 3 pm at Pine Ridge Memorial Park in Kennesaw.

Mr. Dibble was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during WW II and obtained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant. Before retiring after 33 years, Mr. Dibble was employed with Lockheed as an Aeronautical Engineer. He was not only a member of Christ Episcopal Church, but a Charter member. His involvement at Christ Episcopal included being the first Senior Warden and served as Treasurer. Mr. Dibble was pre-deceased by his Son, Richard (Dick) Dibble and Daughter, Margaret (Peggie) Miller.

Those who survive Mr. Dibble are: Wife, Carrie Dibble of Acworth; Children, Nancy Lindsay of Pacific Palisades, CA; Don Dibble of Santa Cruz, CA; Steve Dibble of Acworth; Phyllis Jacobs of Acworth; Jeffrey Dibble of Grand Junction, CO. 14 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren also survive.

The Family will be receiving Friends on Friday, November 19, from 5pm – 7pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Christ Episcopal Church Memorial Fund, 1210 Wooten Lake Rd N.W., Kennesaw, Ga. 30144-1347 or to Crossroads Hospice, 1957 Lakeside Parkway #500, Tucker, Ga. 30084-5859.
