Melissa Rose Horne

Missi Horne, age 42, of Marietta, passed away unexpectedly on December 1, 2016. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 7, at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw beginning at 3pm.

Prior to the service, friends and loved ones are welcome to visit with the family beginning at 1pm.

Missi was preceded in death by her parents – Fred & Rose Godsey, and her brothers – Steve & Mike Godsey.

Missi was a homemaker who spent her life raising her two beautiful children. They were her pride and joy.

She never met a stranger and made everyone feel like her best friend.

She loved her family more than anything in the world. Aside from loving her own children, she loved and adored all of her nieces and nephews as if they were her own.

Missi was always happy and had a laugh that could make the saddest day somehow brighter. She always took care of people and was a natural leader.

Missi is survived by her husband – Scott Horne; son – Jake Horne; daughter – Sadie Horne; sister & brother –in- law – Krissy and Jon Savell; brother and sister in law – Scott and Lisa Godsey, as well as many nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
