Melinda Neeley Young 55, of Marietta passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family after a battle with illness on September, 3rd 2021. Melinda was born in Oak Ridge, Tennessee on April 20, 1966 to the late Millard C. and Wanda Neeley. Melinda was a loving and devoted wife to Kevin, her husband of 28 years and mother to three sons.
Melinda was preceded in death by her parents, brother Mark Neeley and sister Patricia Tyler. Melinda is survived by her husband Kevin Young, stepson Ryan Young, and sons Eric Young and Lieutenant Robert Young. Surviving siblings include Sisters Carolyn Pilla, Shirley Garrett, Donna Miller, Janet St. John, Brother David Neeley and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, September 25th at 11:00 am from Mt. Vernon Methodist Church- 162 Mt. Vernon Church Rd. Bethpage, Tennessee 37022.
