Mary Anita Long-Boyette, 76, passed away into the arms of her Lord, surrounded by her loving family on Monday, September 26, 2016. Anita is survived by her loving husband, Bobby C. Boyette, as well as her children, Bryan Steven Boyette (Toni) of Acworth, GA, Lisa Boyette-Daniels (Wiliam) of Acworth, GA, Richard Wilson Boyette (Maureen Rollins) of Cartersville, GA, Randall Keith Boyette (Beth) of Canton, GA, 9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and many dear nieces, nephews , cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Roy Wilson Long and Mary Walker Long, two brothers Paul Maurice Long (Shirley), Kenneth Donald Long (Gloria) and sister Marjorie Jean Long-Dimsdale (Don).
Anita graduated from A.L. Miller High School (Macon, GA) in 1958. She demonstrated her love for others by visiting people in need at hospitals, nursing homes, etc. She will forever be remembered as a compassionate wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 29 from 6 PM to 9 PM at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home. Services will be on Friday, September 30 at 2 PM at Kennesaw United Methodist Church. Interment to follow at Pine Ridge Memorial Gardens.
