She loved cooking, baking and traveling. Her favorite trip was to the Vatican where she was blessed by Pope John Paul.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Frances Page Resha; siblings, Harry Resha, Franky Resha, Rose Mary Resha, Ronnie Resha, Michael Resha and Sherry Resha.
Survived by her children, Susan L. Whitmire, Stephen M. Pope; sisters, Becky Turner, Lili Resha, Sue Ann Martin; brothers, Richard Resha, Tony Resha; grandchildren, Kristina Pope, Ashley Pope, Dylan Pope, Christopher Whitmire, Spencer Whitmire; nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be held Firday at 2 Pm at Transfiguration Catholic Church, 1815 Blackwell Road, Marietta, GA 30066, with Father Dennis Dorner officiating. A reception will follow the service at Pine Ridge Event Center at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends between the hours of 5 until 8 PM, with a prayer services at 7:30 PM, Thursday at the funeral home.
