Jean Ann enjoyed a long career with Turner Broadcasting where she retired as the Manager of Information Systems. She was an accomplished water and snow skier. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and most of all, enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and the rest of her family.
Jean Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Rickey Harold Neal; father, Charles Randall Duffin, stepmother, Marjorie Duffin, mother, Helen Jewell, and brother, Dan Duffin.
She is survived by her sons Leslie Duffin Boyd (KeeYoung) and Barton Lamar Boyd (Melissa), daughter, Lindsey Brooke Louw (Andrew), brother, Charles Randall Duffin (Jane Fairbairn), sister Tracy O’Connell (Mark). Jean Ann has nine beloved grandchildren; Bailey, Sydney, Carter, McKenna, Perrin, Braedon, Asher, Skylar and Jackson. Jean Ann is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Jean Ann was known for her infectious laugh, her love for life and great style. She had an incredible wit and wonderful sense of humor. She will be missed and remembered by all that knew her.
Funeral services will be held Friday April 3 at 8 AM in the chapel of Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton at 10 AM.
The family will receive friends between the hours of 6 until 8 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
